NewSong Music congratulates Brooklyn’s Jeremy Current and Eugene, Oregon’s Jeffrey Martin as this year’s Early Bird finalists in the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest.As finalists, they are the first of twelve total artists to be selected to perform this fall in the performance competition finals, hosted by the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and held on Saturday, October 20, the weekend of CMJ’s Music Marathon in New York City.
Now in its 11th year, the NewSong Contest offers what no other songwriting or performance competition provides to artists on the rise: more substantive, sustained and truly meaningful career-boosting opportunities.

Additionally, all entrants will be candidates for future recording, management and performance opportunities. The live performance contest finals will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City, during the CMJ Music Marathon.
