 We’re excited to announce that this year’s grand prize winner of the 13th Annual NewSong Contest – one of North America’s most respected performance and songwriting showcases – will receive a 6-song EP produced and mixed by songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone (Wilco, The Autumn Defense). The EP will be recorded and mixed at Asheville, NC’s Echo Mountain Recording Studios, one of the premier destination recording facilities in the country.
 On Saturday, November 15, twelve finalists will get to perform in the live performance showcase and competition at New York City’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts for a chance to take the top prize. Additionally, the grand prize winner will get to perform on NPR Music’s acclaimed Mountain Stage Radio Show.
